- History of RallyCats -

RallyCats was founded in the summer of 1977 by UC students Alvin Roehr and Randy Smith. The RallyCats quickly grew to be the largest student group on campus. We are a group deeply focused on having fun through participation in (mainly athletic) events that promote spirit in and at the University of Cincinnati. In almost a decade, we have steadily increased our presence on campus with innovative programming that celebrates UC, feverish support at Bearcat sporting events, and helping to develop leaders who make a difference both in RallyCats and across campus.

- UC Student Spirit Rituals -

At the end of each game, we stand and sing the Cincinnati Alma Mater, no matter if we win or lose. If we win, we sing the Fight Song first.

On Fridays, we wear Red and Black.

Every time a Volleyball player for the other team serves, we yell some version of the word "Noonan."

The Heiligan is making a comeback.

Students amp up the kickoff and spell NATI before the ball is down.

If you have something to add to our compilation, email dustin@ucrallycats.com, we look forward to your additions.

Cheers
